Fans of Caribou's 2010 album Swim are in luck: Our Love continues in the same vein, a mixture of bubbling synthesizers, dreamy vocals and carefully intertwined drum machines and live percussion. Yet it sounds somehow sweeter in nearly every way. After Swim's dubby crackle and occasional psychedelic overdrive, this one sinks contentedly into romantic pledges and easy-going dance cuts suffused in melody and soft-edged synths. He switches things up on "Second Chance," an R&B cut featuring Jessy Lanza, while the punchy "Mars" recalls his club side project, Daphni.
