Emperor's New Clothes (Live)

As All My Friends, We're Glorious demonstrates, the tour in support of 2016's platinum blockbuster Death of a Bachelor was far more than just a series of concerts; it was a grandiose stage show exploding with a glitzy pomp that crosses '70s glam rock with old school Las Vegas swing. With singer Brendon Urie's poperatic croon and ingeniously cheeky meditations on domesticity taking center stage, Panic! At the Disco successfully recreate the ambitiously complex, horn-laced arrangements heard on album gems like the Frank Sinatra-haunted "Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time" and the hyper-charged "LA Devotee." But they don't stop there, not by a long shot. In addition to finding time to tackle a clutch of older hits, including the emo classic "I Write Sins Not Tragedies," they actually dare to cover Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." If there's one singer with the chops needed to recreate Freddie Mercury's fanciful trills and hurricane cries, it surely is the incredibly talented (and confident) Urie.
