Ratt became an immediate contender in 1984 with the release of this album and the subsequent hit "Round And Round." That song was an opening salvo for the pop metal craze that swept the States in the mid '80s. At their best, Ratt took Judas Priest's muscle, cleaned it up a bit and added those perfect choruses.
